The reason you hated it was because the controls were awful, every enemy took about 20 hits to kill, punch and kick did the same exact thing and it was boring as hell. Yes, I re-played it and can confirm that you are correct in your assertion. Goddamn it. But I digress. I got two new CDs this week: VNV Nation- Matter and Form Wumpscut- Evoke Matter and Form has about 6 or 7 good songs, and the rest is filler. Its a bit of a departure from the angrier, darker stuff VNV used to do, but the good songs are worth listening to. Evoke- Also a bit out of the ordinary for Wumpscut, seems to have a degree of less gritiness, with songs sung some slavic language or greek derivative that I personally cannot identify. Good album.

I think we all tend to remember Bayou Billy fondly because it was one of the first attempt at genre blending we were introduced to. Doesn't ages too well sadly... The new Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto collaboration, Insen (yeah !), hasn't left my player for the past few days. Very, very good. Actually thinking of writing a short paper on contemporary minimalism in music, since that's mostly what I've been listening to the past two years.
