Um... They are just comics man, I understand that alot of people think it is some tremendous art form, which some of it is, but most people just like to have a lil' chuckle now and again. Hey I think that piece of coal in your ass should just about be a diamond now, I think you can take it out. I never said anything about them desecrating an artform. I was complaining about them making unfunny, pathetic attempts to latch onto existing fanbases through the use of tits and ass, or the use of poor video game references being done by an obviously less than avid game player. I read comics for a laugh. Not some attempt to connect to my generation through tired stereotypes of horny game nerds. As for the coal comment, how am i being a tight ass? Coal turns into diamond under extreme pressure and heat. So, I assume that you are trying to say that my ass is tight. How would you know anything about my spending habits?

I said that his coal into diamond comment seems to be saying that I am a tight ass. A tight ass is a person that never spends much money. How could a point about spending habits be clear in a forum that I have not mentioned anything about my spending habits in?

Don't worry, we've all been down that road (but certainly not me ).

I read a dozen webcomics, but I have a few favorites.
Spells and Whistles,OrneryBoy, and Sinfest.
I recently came across this new, single panel comic called, "In Other News" on the Comics Sherpa website. It gives the latest news on current events. It's worth a read. I like it.

I find OrneryBoy to be interesting simply because yesterday I asked several people online what an "ornery varmit" was, as per some old cartoon. I have come to the possible conclusion that ornery means ordinary and varmit is similar to vermin.

Well, I recently read the last volume of the Bone series, Crown of Horns, which was a bittersweet experience. Of course, it's an immensely enjoyable read, but it's a bit sad having the adventure come to an end. I also recently read Blankets by Craig Thompson, which is a very accessible (when compared to say, Jimmy Corrigan), evocative piece...lovely to look at and a joy to read.

Anybody see this March 30th Mutts cartoon about Seal hunts? I guess he's into all animal rights. Someday I'd like to be a (BirdBreath) voice for birds.

Blanket is published by Topshelf right ? Lovely catalogue they have. Should probably try to find this one. www.topshelfcomix.com/Can you believe I can't remember anything about Bone except I really enjoyed reading the first tome when I stumbled upon it ? Today, Appleseed by Masamune Shirow. Going nowhere, but some shining moments ("A city is a cage built by those who dwell in it"). Can't access most of Birdbreath it seems. Probably a config problem. Will have another go at it later with another browser.
