24 Hour Comic Day is an annual event where you have to draw a 24 page comic in 24 straight hours. Scott McCloud ( www.ScottMcCloud.com) came up with the concept of doing this. This year's 24 Hour Comic Day is taking place on April 23rd all over the world in various official and unofficial 24 Hour Comic Day locations. I was thinking about doing this at a local comic store . Anyone else thinking of doing this? (I remember when this wasn't actually a day- you just did it when you felt like it. )

I really could not imagine doing something like this. I think I'll be at the comic book store tomorrow, so I'm kinda curious to ask about it, but I really doubt they even know what the hell it is. Edit: Looks like this store is participating. They're only 45 minutes away...hmmm

I say go for it. It'll be fun!
I haven't pulled an all nighter in a while though. I hope it doesn't drive me mad.

What would drive me mad is actually doing this. I'm such a slow writer (1 A4 page a day is a perforamance to/for me) I'd end up completely depressive. The idea's nice if you can cope with it.

Wait, so, Jen, are you definitely doing this then? Well I was planning to, but then I remembered that I have to go help out at a Rabbit Adoption Day on the 23rd for a few hours. I suppose I could weasle out of it, but it's more important that I get the bunnies to good homes than deprive myself of sleep and draw comics. Besides which, I can make any day of the year 24 hour comic day!
