I've decided to spin off the birds from DuJour to BirdBreath. These were always the most offbeat cartoons, so I thought it fitting to give them their own site. Funny too the bird ideas come easier than the DuJour ones. I think I lke it better than DuJour. The home page is just a placeholder while I work on a more complete one. I copied all the DuJour bird cartoons into an archive of 30 plus cartoons. Let me know what you think. ;D Thanks!!

Hey, just checked out the site and I like the gags you have up there. It seems that a lot of people at toontalk like them too, which isn't shabby at all.
The premise reminds me a lot of Birdbrains, which is on sherpa, though, but I'm not sure if you're aware of that comic (it wasn't brought to my attention until today actually).
Regardless, if you like this concept more than DuJour, you should probably stick with it for at least a couple of months and see how that goes.

Thanks! I plan to continue DuJour and add the bird cartoons to the BirdBreath site. At sometime I'll probably send a collection of to the syndicates and see what happens. Since Copley News liked DuJour (but had what they considered something similar), I sent them an email about BirdBreath.
I looked at Birdbrains and I don't think it and BirdBreath are that alike. BirdBreath is a bit more off the wall ;D We'll see........................

I looked at Birdbrains and I don't think it and BirdBreath are that alike. I agree with you on that. I think Birdbrains tends to get a lot of gags from the differences in the different species of birds; you tend to stick with the 'DuJour Bird' (a new species? ) and put them in odd situations. ;D

Al - Thanks!! It's more like wacko!!! ;D I added more to the new (now default) home page and really enjoyed it. Strange - never happened on DuJour. It's just a neat chance to be really off the wall and wierd.....
