So some of you know that I'm hoping to publish a book this year- probably a collection of C'est la Vie's first year. I have a few companies that I'm looking at, but if any of you know of any good comic strip/web comic publishers that you'd like to suggest, please let me know here.
'Tis appreciated.

I think I"m going to go with Lulu Publishing. There's another publisher whose name escapes me right now that also seems good, but I have to go through a big submission packet deal with them. I may consider sending them something the second time around. I kinda want to do this now when I have the time. Lulu's website is www.lulu.com

I am looking at Page Free Publishing, but am not totally satisfied. Cafe Press, where I have t-shirts etc. is not bad either, but limited to their store only sales. What exactly do you want in distribution? I'd like Amazon and Barnes and Noble hooks for the best audience possible. What's LuLu like? I may have to check them out.

Ideally I'd like something that just made the books as people bought them b/c I'm not sure how much in demand they would be. I haven't committed myself to one company quite yet since I"m still putting the book together, but Lulu seems good and a lot of people recommend it. I may also go with these people: www.comixpress.com/I got another source too, but I can't find the link at the moment. I'll post it here when I get it. What's really important to me is that these books look more or less professional- I want perfect binding with nice pages. None of that wire spiral binding for me.
