 Good Lawsie!
« Thread Started on Nov 23, 2008, 10:51pm »

It's over a year since the last posting was made to this forum! I'm just posting to let you know we still love you, Jennifer! So much has happened during the past year, I'm amazed no one is commenting on it. Let's see, what have I liked most? The childhood story was nice. Pierre's romance (or failure at it) has been interesting. Interactions between Pierre and Donna are usually good, though his misunderstanding women and subsequent accidentally upsetting Donna were out-of-character for the experienced womanizer he's been presented as. M.Smokie is very good as a confidant to Mona, less good as an activist. I'd like to see a bit more of the Goths. Lucas's new friends are also potentially interesting. I'm mostly glad to see Tiffany eased out, though the manner of her going (cold-bloodedly switching to a new guy just for superficial reasons) seemed a bit contrived. She was becoming too flat a character, and her dumping Lucas the way she did just made her even more so. Even though I never liked her, she at least had more personality and more complex motivations when she was first introduced. I'm glad to see Mona and Lucas together again, but miss the undercurrent of romance that used to be between them. Hope I don't sound like I'm complaining, because this is still one of my favorite comics, and I hope it continues for a long time!
